Modular plywood furniture · no tools, no screws, no glue
Guest bed tonight. Desk tomorrow.
Slotafit is furniture that slots together like a puzzle — and slots apart into something else. The same plywood kit is a proper bed when someone stays over, a home office when they've gone, and packed flat on a shelf when you need the floor back.
Bed mode: a real slatted frame under a real mattress. The low headboard? That's the desk legs, waiting for their turn.
FIG. 1 — Bed mode. Every part has a second job.
Up in minutes
No tools needed.
Parts with two jobs
Headboard becomes desk legs. Bedside table becomes a stool.
Packs away flat
Slides onto a shelf, under a bed or behind a door.
A real bed
A proper frame under a proper mattress — not an air bed.
Off the floor, finally
A mattress on the floor can't breathe: it sleeps clammy and wears out sooner. Slats let the air through — your in-laws will notice.
One kit, three lives
Furniture that changes jobs as often as your rooms do.
Most furniture does one thing and takes up space doing it. Slotafit is a set of clever parts that you rearrange when life changes — no toolbox, no swearing, about ten minutes.
The guest bed
Someone's coming to stay. Slot the frame together that afternoon, drop in the slats, add the mattress. A proper bed — not an air mattress slowly sighing at 3 a.m.
The home office
They've gone home. Lift the headboard panels out — they're now desk legs. The deck panel becomes the desktop, the bedside stool becomes your seat. Same parts, new job.
The disappearing act
Need the room for yoga, a party or a moving van? Everything packs down flat and hides on a shelf or under another bed until the next plot twist.
The range
Pick your puzzle.
Every Slotafit piece is cut from plywood and held together by the same trick: slots and keys shaped like our logo.
Convertible
Bed ↔ desk from one kit, plus a stool that doubles as a bedside table. The single is cut from one sheet of plywood. Single and double.
Locker bed
No part longer than 53 cm, so the whole bed arrives in 55 × 37 cm boxes you can collect from a parcel locker. Yes, a bed. From a locker.
Classic frames
Low, mid or tall: slats at 26, 28 or 30 cm, with separate feet or three rails. One box from about 104 × 31 × 15 cm for a single.
How it works
Slot. Switch. Stow.
Slot
Rails drop into slots, logo-shaped keys lock the joints, slats sit in their notches. One person, about 10 to 30 minutes depending on the model.
Switch
On the Convertible, the same panels re-slot into a desk and stool. Every part has a second job, so nothing sits in a cupboard feeling useless.
Stow
Pull the keys, slide the parts free and pack them flat. Moving house becomes carrying a pile of boards, not wrestling a bed down the stairs.
The fun part
Remember how good a puzzle felt?
As kids we could lose a whole afternoon making pieces click into place. Slotafit brings that feeling back, only this time the finished puzzle holds up your mattress. Every part has its place, every joint slides home with a satisfying fit, and when you're done you've built something you'll actually sleep on.
Then, next month, you get to solve it again — as a desk.
PUZZLE RULES
- No instructions in a foreign language. Numbered parts and pictures.
- No missing pieces drama. No screws, no bolts, nothing tiny to lose.
- Kids welcome. Slotting the slats in is the best job in the house.
- Infinite replays. Take it apart and build it again, any time.
Who it's for
For rooms that refuse to do just one thing.
Work-from-home hosts
Office all week, guest room for the weekend visit — without buying both.
Small flats
No spare room at all? Bed in the living room tonight, desk by the window tomorrow.
Students and first homes
One kit that grows with you: bed, desk, then bed again at the next place.
Renters and movers
Comes apart in minutes and travels flat-packed, move after move.
Cabins and holiday homes
Extra beds for the busy weekends, packed away for the rest of the season.
Family coming home
Grown-up kids back for the holidays, or a parent staying a few weeks.
The joint
Our logo holds your bed together. Literally.
The Slotafit mark is two interlocking pieces, and that's exactly how the furniture works: one part's tab meets the other's slot, and each keeps the other in place. On the Convertible, little logo-shaped keys lock the joints — push them in, it's solid; pull them out, and it packs flat again.
